Edward A. Long, 78, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Friday, June 23, 2023, in his home. Mr. Long was a member of Chapel Hill Church in Burnsville and loved attending. He enjoyed collecting model trucks and working with his tractor. More than anything, however, he loved his family and his faith. Mr. Long is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Long; his daughters, Becky Segrest (Darrin), Lisa Castellanos (Julius), Laurie Degraw, and Perry Cutshall; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Christensen (Ramon), Christine Cutshall, Chelsey Lycans, and Caitlyn Burton; and his great-grandchildren, Brittain and Damon Christensen, Tripp Lycans, and Carter Bowman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aleta Mae Ballard and George H. Long. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, officiated by Bro. Scotty McCay. Pallbearers include Jeff Allred, Donnie Langford, Dave Langford, Bill Hardin, Bobby Degraw, and Darrin Segret. Honorary pallbearers include Tim Spencer and Jerry Allred.
