Eddie Gene Reed, 66, of Elgin, IL, formerly of Belmont, MS, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Reed; two sons, Dyon Reed and Kerry Loveless (Amy); his parents, Bobby Joe and Wanda Reed; two brothers, Sammy Reed (Sheila) and Kenny Reed; two sisters, Gail Gann (Terry) and Cheryl Mills (Jeff); the mother of his sons, Karen Rushing Reed; four grandchildren, Jodi, Kara, and Todd Loveless and Kendall Paige; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Tula Reed and E.A. and Louella Mills. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 12:30 pm until 2pm, at Golden Central Baptist Church in Golden, MS. Services are scheduled for 2pm, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Golden Central Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
