James Edward "Ed" Wynn, 85, of Iuka, MS passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his residence. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid gun collector. Ed was on the Board of Directors for Farm Bureau and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Thelma Wynn; his daughter, Jo Ellen Barnett (William); his step-daughter, Cathy Carroll (Craig); his step-son, Jason Brown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Maude Russell Wynn; and his siblings, Betty Wynn Jones, Dorothy Wynn, and Lowell Wynn. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A private family service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Cutshall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry Bowman, Greg Enlow, Robert Pruitt, Thomas Dill, Mike Harwell, and Jeff Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Pounders, Tommy Frederick, Dr. Jim Perkins, and the Directors and Staff of Farm Bureau Insurance Company.
