Edwin Dwight Moore, 58, of Iuka, Mississippi, departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Guys, Tennessee, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Ed was born May 5, 1963, in Monticello, AR, to Paul and Sallie Roberts Moore. While growing up with his siblings in Arkansas, Ed cultivated a love for farming that stayed with him throughout his adult life. Ed attended the University of Arkansas – Monticello and was the store manager at Wal-Mart #268 in Savannah, TN. Ed worked hard to manage a well-run store and took pride in having an efficient store and hard-working employees. Ed’s love for farming followed him to Mississippi and he could often be found working on the farm. He loved to garden, raise cattle, and plant a variety of crops. Ed also loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He also enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, going to the horse races, going “junking” with his wife, and going on family vacations to the beach. Ed worked hard at everything he did. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amy Moore; five children, Cecelia Rosendahl (Tyler), Corey Moore (Ivy), Gregory Moore, Josh Moore, and Katelynn Moore; a brother, Robert Moore (Carol); a sister, Debbie Gerard (Robert); six grandchildren, Preston, Ayden, Connor, Cameron, Avett, and June; a sister-in-law, Deborah Morales; and six nieces and nephews, Amanda, Kellie, Jamie, Angie, Steven, and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edwin and Sallie Jo Roberts Moore; his daughter, Farrah O’Toole; and his brother, James Cockrell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at the Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Ron Norvell. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Corey Moore, Greg Moore, Josh Moore, Tyler Rosendahl, and Ayden Cockerham. Honorary pallbearers include Charlie Rinehart, Jimmy Moore, David Moore, Michael Moore, Clark Wilmeth, his Wal-Mart Market Team including Tim Criswell, Sean Kelly, Melissa Prosser, Alma Talley, Leila Petty, and Kim Gilliam, his fellow Wal-Mart Store Managers including Ronda Turner, Trever Ramsey, Brant Wilson, Michael Seiber, Monica Hill, Cheryl Doyle, Chrystal Agent-Smith, Ryan Harrison, Cabe Sala, and Amanda Miller, and the Store 268 Management Team including Janet Waggoner, Karen Franks, Dan Cottrell, Regena Bullington, Cody Edwards, Helen Logan, Greg Wright, Jeannie Coffman, Jeffrey Morelock, Nicole Stone, Sonya Baker, and Charlotte Brittner. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, at the Iuka Baptist Church.
