Doris L. Rhodes

Doris L. Rhodes, 86, of Iuka, MS, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, TN. Doris was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the garden and raising flowers and blueberries. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Johnny Hancock. Pallbearers include Danny Barnes, Sam Rhodes, Will Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes, Chad Harwell, and W.T. Carson. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her sons, Johnny Rhodes (Joette) of Iuka, MS and Davey Rhodes (Kim) of Tuscumbia, AL; her daughter in law, Ingrid Rhodes of Iuka, MS; her grandchildren, Sam Rhodes (Emmalie) of Richmond Hill, GA, Will Rhodes (Lori Beth) of Shreveport, LA, Sarah Edwards (Josh) of Tuscumbia, AL, Thomas Rhodes of Madison, AL, Nikki Tapp (Derrick) of Iuka, MS, Callie Grimaldi (Chris) of Villa Rica, GA, and Jamie Schad (David) of Pflugerville,TX; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Rhodes; her parents, John Wesley and Willie Mae Walker Carson; and her sister, Martha Middleton.
