Doris Russell Garrett, 75, of Iuka, MS, died Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Doris enjoyed painting, crocheting, and fishing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 5pm at New Salem Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled from 2pm until time of service. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her sons, James Garrett (Tricia), Charles Garrett, and Bill Garrett; her daughter, Doris Johnson; her sisters, Lydia Linton (Jerry) and Bertha Davis (Mike); her brother, Ernie Russell (Jane); her grandchildren, Conner Garrett and Jill Clark (Bob); her great grandchildren, Paul Malito and Colt Clark; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. “Jim” Garrett; her parents, Oren Hansel and Dramer Williams Russell; her brother, Bobby Russell; and her sister, Gail Russell.
