Donny Ray Carver was born on May 3, 1962, to the late Betty Johnson and Durrell Carver. Donny was a resident of Burnsville, MS and went home to Jesus, his parents, his brother, Jackie, and his niece, Lakeisha, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, at age 60 years old. He enjoyed working on trucks, mowers, and anything else that could get his hands dirty. He also loved to play the guitar. Donny loved his wife Kathy, and all his family, friends, and his dogs. Donny is survived by six siblings, Dorothy Carver Plemons, Sharon Crane, Darrell Carver, Peggy Hudson, Delinda Hamm, and Sandra Smith. He was loved by many nieces and nephews, Richey Plemons, Chris Wildman, Jessica Elrod, Courtney Williams, Blake Carver, Holley Maddox, Heathe Hudgins, Daniel Hudson, Matthew Hudson, David Hudson, Curtis and Timothy Godsey, Kandace Barnes, Hayley Johnson, Addison Smith, and Dustin and Braxton Smith. He had many great nieces and nephews, Jennie, Jayden, Tyson, Joseph, Emmett, Brookelyn, Skylar, Colton, J.J., Kiya, Preston, Caden, Analeigh, Gunner, Miranda, Carter, Ethan, Seth, Patrick, and Gage. He is also survived by his uncle, James Johnson; his cousins, Doug Smith, Bonnie Smith, Brian Mock, Amy Harrison, and J.P. Mock; and loved by many friends and family. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Ed Kennedy. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
