David Alfred Hamilton, 88, of Albuquerque NM passed away on March 23,2019. Mr. Hamilton was born on January 22, 1931 to Hosie and Julie Hamilton in Tishomingo, MS. Mr. Hamilton joined the USMC in 1952 and served in the Korean War. He was a carpenter by trade. Mr. Hamilton enjoyed living in the mountains in southern Colorado for the last 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and returning to Alabama to visit with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosie and Julie Hamilton; his brothers William, Wilmer, and Henry Hamilton; and his sister, Mae Hamilton Hayes. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Corcoran of Central Point, OR; his sons, Dell (Pamela) of Albuquerque, NM and David of Hot Springs, AR. He is also survived by his nephews, who were like sons, David and Steven Hamilton of Rose Trail and John and Larry Henderson; nieces, Louise Lenz and Martha (Marion) Couch of Cherokee, AL and Donna Hopkins. He has 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Chuck Landsell. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka.
