Daniel Loyl Keele, 83, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Keele was of the non-denominational Christian faith. He was a timber cutter for most of his life and also helped to build the Tenn-Tom Waterway. He spent his later years farming and selling food from his garden at the Corinth Farmers Market. He enjoyed fishing on the Tennessee River and the Tenn-Tom Waterway and spending time with his little buddy, Max. He was most proud of his children. He is survived by one son, Vencent Keele of Arley, AL; one daughter, Litisha Keele LeBlanc of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Jerrell Keele of Burnsville; one sister, Merle Faulkner (Bob) of Iuka; two grandchildren, Tiffany Parson Comeaux (Brad) of Louisiana, and Skylar Keele Howard (Klay) of Alabama; four great-grandchildren, S. J. Comeaux, Jacques Daniel Comeaux, Bryce Howard, and Nolan Howard; many nieces and nephews he loved greatly; and his dog, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mable Gene Keele; a daughter, Silvia Jane Keele; a grandchild, Kember Shai Parson; three brothers, Denvil, David, and Tim Keele; and six sisters, Lynda Hall, Brenda Cagle, Doris Luttrell, Rachael Harrison, Ruth McDuffy, and Nina Puckett. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Sheldon Lambert. Pallbearers include Benjamin Puckett, Helton Puckett, Eddie Puckett, Zack Bogus, B. J. Plaxico, and Tanner Bogus. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
