Andrew Dakota Balius, 14, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, October 26, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Dakota was born August 14, 2004, to Elesha Louise Dean and Andrew Lee Balius. His favorite hobby was fishing, and his favorite color was purple. Dakota was currently enrolled as an eighth-grade student at Burnsville Middle School. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Elesha and Arthur Dean; his father, Andrew Lee Balius; his grandmother, Stella B. Edge; his siblings, Montana Sample, Luke Sample, Lori Balius, Destiny Wolfenbarger, and James Robert Balius; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jared Lee Wolfenbarger; and his grandparents, Marshall D. Edge, Robert Anthony, and Dorothy May Balius. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A public memorial will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, at the auditorium of Burnsville Middle School.
