Dairl Melvin Clayton

Dairl Melvin Clayton, 69, of Tishomingo, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Diversicare of Amory. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting Native American Artifacts. Dairl was a lifetime member of Divide Ridge Hunting Club. His greatest blessing in life was his family and he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them and his friends. He is survived by his daughter, Shana Terry (Winford); his sisters, Mary Ruth Arnold (Cecil) and Katheryn Johnson; his grandchildren, Cathy McKayla Hibley (Steve Tyler), Winford "Wynn" Terry, III (Aeryal), Michael Clayton Terry, and Seth Isaac Terry; his great grandchild, Westynn Terry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Arlis and Daisy Ramona Mock Clayton; his brother, Harold Clayton; and a nephew, Shane Arnold. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 16. 2021 from 1pm until 2pm, at Burgess Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for 2pm, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Burgess Creek Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Marshall Tennison. Burial will be in Burgess Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Winford Terry, III, Clayton Terry, Seth Terry, Westynn Terry, Michael Clayton, Winford Terry, Jr., Tyler Hibley, and Stephen Arnold.
