Claudis Cayce Gober

Claudis Cayce Gober, 94, of Iuka, MS, died on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at his home on North Pearl Street. Claudis enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping, and spending time with family. He was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church, and retired from Genesco after 33 years. He is survived by his son, Gene Gober (Angie); his grandchildren, Lisa Stevens (Jimmy), Donna Bonds (Jonathan), Tyler Gober (Amy), Joey Bain, Megan Goddard, and Jessica Bain; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Gober; his parents, George and Rachel Gober; four brothers; and four sisters. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Iuka at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Bro. Tony Curtis. A public visitation will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, continuing on Thursday at Fifth Street Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
