Billy "Bill" Ray Cleveland

Billy Ray "Bill" Cleveland, 80, of Iuka, MS passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his residence. He enjoyed working, gardening, and remodeling houses. He was a member of Iuka Gospel Chapel and was known for having a givers heart and helping others. Bill influenced many, many lives and deeply cared for each and everyone he ever met. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty "Sue" Cleveland of Iuka; his daughter, Pam Woodruff of Iuka; his son, Lanny Ray Cleveland (Theresa) of Iuka; his sisters, Kathleen Garrison Cox of Belmont, Earlene Strickland of Vina, AL, and Opalene Garrison of Red Bay, AL; his brother, Wayne Cleveland (Deb) of Golden; his grandchildren, Bradley Cleveland, Logan Cleveland, Colton Woodruff (Kristen Paige), and Kristen Gann (Keith); and his great grandson, Fletcher Ryan Woodruff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Anderson and Beatrice Rogers Cleveland; and his brothers and sisters, Virgil Cleveland, Rex Cleveland, Grady Cleveland, Harold Cleveland, Hazel Cleveland, Bobby Cleveland, Clarence Cleveland, Revenelle Taliferro, Larry Cleveland, and Charlene Cleveland. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 5pm until 9pm at Iuka Gospel Chapel. The body will lie in state from 11am until the time of service on Sunday. Services are scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 1pm at Iuka Gospel Chapel, officiated by Bro. Bernard Lewis, Bro. Jim Edwards, Bro. Mike Hunt, and Bro. Encil Edmonds. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bradley Cleveland, Logan Cleveland, Colton Woodruff, Keith Gann, Ben Baxter, and Mike Province. Honorary pallbearers will be Herbert Bishop and Gordan Whitaker.
