Bill Herron, 94, of Bartlett, TN, formerly of Iuka, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital - Bartlett. Bill was a member of Iuka Baptist Church and retired from the Memphis Transit Authority. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Doris Gean Herron; his son, Ray Herron (Joyce); his grandchildren, Nathan Herron (Lauren), Joseph Herron (Dani), and Jonathan Herron (Kimberly); and his great grandchildren, Hadley Grace, William Hudson, Riley Alexus, Remy Jo, and another one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Allie Nelson Herron; his son, Michael Wayne Herron; and a granddaughter in law, Erika Herron. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 10 am until 11 am, at Iuka Baptist Church. Services will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11am at Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Ronnie Hatfield. Burial will be at Eastport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Herron, Joseph Herron, Jonathan Herron, Andrew Mays, Brent Cranford, and Mickey Harber.
