Annette Barrett Mars

Annette Barrett Mars, 79, of Memphis, Tennessee, died Friday, August 12, 2022, at The Hospitality House in Iuka. Annette was born on June 28, 1943, to Mr. O. E. and Stella Barrett. Through her experience in beauty pageants, she created Classic Beauty and Talent Systems, which served the southeast region of the United States. Later she founded Mars Market Research with equal geographical reach and the ability to hire more employees. She is survived by her only child, Sherry Mars Bradford (Monty); two sisters, Linda Barrett McCoy and Barbara Barrett Shook; two grandchildren who were her heart’s passion, Catherine “Cassie” Anne Coleman and Bliss Barrett Bradford; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, O. E. and Stella Barrett. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
