Alice Fayrene Adams

Alice Fayrene Adams, 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at her residence. A beloved member of Iuka Apostolic Church, Alice was known for her caring nature and the warmth she shared with everyone she encountered. She never met a stranger, welcoming all into her life with open arms and a loving heart. Over the years, she took in many children caring for them as her own, and she was always open to being a shoulder to cry on or someone to share a giggle with. Alice was a very talented seamstress that could do anything, from making dolls to mending clothes. Above all else, however, she loved her family. Alice is survived by her children, Sue Pollard, Amy Kugle, Angela Adams, and Deanna Hulen (Chris); her grandchildren, Ashley Crabb , Bret Blodgett (Amber), Brooke Cooper (Kori Burgess), Damien Crabb, Carrah Cooper (Jesse Deen), Destiny Adams, Paige Weaver (Jose Vargas), Catherine Hulen, Caroline Ferguson (Jordan), and Kennedy Mauldin (JD); her 21 great-grandchildren; her nieces, Joy Starcher (Mark), Ronda Holder, and Linda Helgeson (David); her sisters-in-law, Linda Roach, Elsie Shank Adams, Peggy Johnson, and Caryl Johnson; and a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, and family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lowell Adams; her granddaughter, Diamond Blodgett; her great-grandson, Salem Vargas; her parents, Evelyn and Melvin Johnson; her brothers, Melvin, Larry, and Gary Johnson; her sisters, Margaret Boyd, Mary Jo Lingelbach, and Sarah Johnson; and several other cousins and family members. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Pallbearers include Chris Hulen, Bret Blodgett, and Caroline Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers include David Helsen. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Alice’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
