Max Wade, 94, of Bartlett, TN, died Friday, June 2, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. He enjoyed doing carpentry work, gardening and traveling. He also loved to tell stories of his days serving in WWII. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Fred Shackelford. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Wednesday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his son, Johnny Max Wade; his daughter, Peggy Lee Thompson; his grandchildren, Michael Butts, Johnny Wade (Melissa), Jimmy Wade (Tearsa), and Laura Mallozzi; his great grandchildren, Kari Wade, Lanie Wade, Kristy Wade, and Ethan Ermis; and his great great grandchild, Paisley Wade.
