Clara McDuffy Yarber, 78, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Yarber was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a Boy Scout Leader for ten years, and was also involved with 4-H. She was formerly employed at the Tishomingo Shoe Company, and enjoyed caring for the sick and elderly. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, officiated by Rick Fields. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by two sons, Michael Davis and Shawn L. Yarber (Mary Ashley), both of Iuka; one sister, Lila Fay Jones (Raymond) of Tishomingo; three grandchildren, Michael Brian Davis (Brandi) of Corinth, Jonathan Lane Davis (Sarah) of Bentonville, AR, and Bradley Logan Davis of Iuka; three great-grandchildren, Emerson Davis of Bentonville, AR, and Knox Davis and Slayden Davis, both of Corinth; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Yarber; her parents, Charles Edgar and Mary Lou Elsie Gray McDuffy; a sister, Nella Jean McDuffy; and a brother, James O. McDuffy.
