Rubie Beatrice "Bea" Walker Vess

Rubie Beatrice “Bea” Walker Vess, 81, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at her residence. Mrs. Vess was a member of Rocky Springs United Methodist Church. She enjoyed helping and caring for others. She also enjoyed church activities and spending time with her family. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tim Hankins. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one brother, Frank Walker; two sisters, Olene Jones and Rachel Robinson; thirteen nieces, Katie Poliachik, Judy Nixon, Sheila Graham, Cathy Fredette, Diane Wallace, Sabrina Simpson, Dana Sanderson, Teresa Green, Shelaine Threet, Glenda Ramsey, Melissa Walker, Caroline Meyer, and Chantel Rojas; and thirteen nephews, Darrell Walker, George Walker, William Walker, Eddie Walker, John Walker, Rickie Walker, Keith Walker, Gary Walker, Caleb Ervin, Josh Ervin, Gabriel Ervin, Randy Walker, and Anthony Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted L. and Ora Beatrice Dean Walker; three brothers, Harold Walker, Melvin Walker, and R. D. Walker; a sister, Janice Ervin; and a nephew, John Walker.
