Hoile Dwayne Walker, 75, of Cherokee, AL. died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Walker was employed many years with Firestone & worked as a millwright for Kimberly Clark until his retirement. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, outdoors, and loved to ride mules. His sole purpose in life was to love and provide for his family. His granddaughters were the joy of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Rod Stansky. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Diane Smith Walker; two daughters, Leigh Ellen Baker (Mark) and Amy Carole Williams; a son, David Laurence Walker; his sister, Dr. Jerri Walker of Bolton, MA.; two granddaughters, Taylor Elaine Baker and Savannah Grace Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oaire Agnew and Ruthie Honeycutt Walker and a brother, Paul Wayne Walker.
