Geraldine "Jeri" Pruitt Nolen

Geraldine “Jeri” Pruitt Nolen, 84, of Iuka, MS, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka. Mrs. Nolen was a member of Providence Baptist Church, where she loved singing Christian music on Sunday mornings. Jeri loved her family and friends, taking care of flowers, and her home. Visitation is scheduled for 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, April 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Phil Dawson. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Pruitt, Jackie Pruitt, Clyde Ledbetter, Bradley Pruitt, Dr. Brad Nunley, and Jonathan Nunley. Cutshall Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Jeri is survived by three sons, Barry Nolen (Fran), Larry Nolen (Colleen), and Gary Nolen (Rosalind), all of Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Marie Harp of Iuka, and Betty Aldridge (Bobby) of Tishomingo; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James G. Nolen; her parents, Marion H. Pruitt and Pearl Williams Pruitt; brothers, Arthur Pruitt, Vester Pruitt, Lester Pruitt, and James Pruitt; and one sister, Madine Ledbetter.
