Philippa Cecile Barbier Ragusa, 69, of Iuka, MS and Baton Rouge, LA, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Philippa had a zest for life and deeply loved her family and friends. She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She loved New Orleans and will always be our “New Orleans Lady”. She loved to laugh and share stories of her parents, husband and sons. She had a special strength that will remain with all that loved her. Visitation is scheduled for 2 until 3 pm, Friday, April 7, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. A memorial service is scheduled for 3 P.M., on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Sister Shelia Przesmicki. A mass will be held on a later date in Baton Rouge, LA. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ragusa; her sons, Phillippe Quaid Ragusa, Joseph Michael Ragusa (Shannon), and Patrick Gerard Ragusa (Shelly); and her grandchildren, Sophia, Brady, Lila, and Blake; and her brother in-law, Frank Ragusa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philippe Ernest and Julia Cecile Quaid Barbier and her parents’ in-laws, Marion and Frank Ragusa.
