Sammy Roy “Sambo” Hamm, 49, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Sammy was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved camping, playing outside with his grandkids, and spending time with family. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017, officiated by Bro. Troy Helton and Bro. Jackie Pittman, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in Barton Cemetery. Pallbearers include Anthony Hamm, James Borde, Michael Dooley, Tony Borden, Jackson Riley Hamm, and Braxton Hamm. Honorary pallbearers will be Eagle Hamm, Pete Hamm, Cody Lambert, and BJ Lambert. Visitation is scheduled 5 until 8 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Hamm; his daughter, Heather Hamm Price (Robert); his son, Roy Edward Hamm; his grandchildren, Madilynn “Lovebug” Price and Peyton (Monkey) Price; his mother, Brenda Ann Grissom; his sister, Brenda Gail Borden (Grady); his brothers, William Pete Hamm (Renee), James Ronald “Eagle” Hamm (Kim), and Anthony Roy Hamm (Allison); his brother in-law, James Borden; his sister in-law, Debbie Dooley (Dennis); and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Edward “Ted” Hamm; his beloved sister and best friend, Nancy Borden; a niece, Elzie Mae Borden; and his grandparents, Major and Eula Mae Hamm and Bill and Bessie Dooley.
