Jerry Wayne Garrett

Jerry Wayne Garrett, 62, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. A resident of Grant, Alabama, he was a native of Mississippi. He was born to the late Mrs. Nolene Harris Garrett and the late Mr. Dallas A. Garrett. Jerry worked in the Transportation Industry for many years. Even though Jerry lived in Alabama, he was a very avid Mississippi Football Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Nolene Garrett; two brothers, Aaron Garrett and Edwin Garrett; his sister, Ann Garrett Crabb; and a niece, Kim Seever. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Wolford Garrett; his loving son, Patrick Garrett (Monica); his cherished grandchildren, Sierra Garrett, Kaylyn Garrett and Rylynd Jade “JR” Garrett; his brother, James Garrett (Barbara); and his dog, “Charlie”. Visitation at Grand Memorial Chapel in Grant, Alabama will be Tuesday, March 7, from at 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Visitation at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, will begin at 11am until 1pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Funeral service is scheduled for 1pm, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Burial will be at Allen Line Cemetery in New Site, MS. Grant Memorial Chapel and Cutshall Funeral Home are entrusted with arrangements.
