Nellie P. Wood, 93, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Carrington House in Iuka. She enjoyed spending her time taking care of everyone else. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, and children. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Bobby Wood and Lance Foster. Interment will follow in South Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kerry Wood, James Oliver, Mike Oliver, Cade Marino, Charles Crosby, and Danny Akers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her son, Danny Wood; her daughter, Brenda Sellers; her sister, Nettie Smith; her grandchildren, Melissa Borck, Kerry Wood (Carey Lynn), and Mike Oliver (Jennifer); 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Ellie McAnally; her husband, Clinton Wood; her daughter, Pat Oliver; her sister, Quay Morris; her brothers, Junior “J.J.” McAnally, Kenneth McAnally, and Clayton McAnally; a son-in-law, Charles Ray Sellers; and her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Wood.
