Harold Walters

Harold Vester Walters, 74, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. Mr. Walters loved to spend his time camping with his wife. He also enjoyed going fishing and gardening. His favorite past time was spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Patrick United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Patrick Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Walters; his two daughters, Michelle Bourland (Jerry) and Sonya Waldrip (Andy); his son, Norman Walters; his siblings, Delbert Walters (Diane), Stella Rickman (Joe) and Rinda James; his grandchildren, Steven, Stephanie, Amanda, Kirsten, and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Jaylan, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Bessie Walters; his siblings, Jerry Walters and Troy Dean Walters, and his parent’s in-law, Lawrence and Pearl Lambert.
