William Stonewall “Bill” Selman, Jr., 81, of Iuka, MS, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mr. Selman was a union dock worker at Jewel Food Co. in Chicago for 42 years prior to retiring to Mississippi. He enjoyed football, and also especially loved the Chicago Cubs, recently having watched them win their first National League Baseball pennant since he was 10 years old. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kenneth Selman, Wesley Foster, Billy Selman, Keith Harris, and Emily Foster. Brenton Selman will serve as honorary pallbearer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two sons, Craig Selman (Phyllis) of Iuka, and Billy Selman (Ramona) of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Cathy Massaro of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, Emily Foster, Wesley Foster, Amanda Selman, Tina Massaro, Christina Jin, and Kaitlyn Selman; and three great-grandchildren, Brenton, Devon, and Jackson. Memorials may be made to the Providence Cemetery Fund.
