Joseph “Joe” Wheeler Southward, 84, of Tishomingo, MS, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Southern Magnolia Estates, in Iuka, MS. Joe enjoyed watching Nascar and fishing. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Tishomingo Cemetery, officiated by Michael Cornelius. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. He is survived by his three daughters, Carolynn (Ray) Ferguson, Nancy (Danny) Nelson, and Shara (Kerry) Krag. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Colleen, Joslyn and Amelia: grandsons, Landon, Donovan and Adrian; and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Tom” Thomas and Pearl Hal Stephens Southward; and his siblings, Bill Southward, Tom Southward, Hal Southward, Ophelia Puckett, and Fairless Southward.
