Cordelia “Dee” Bullard, 92, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Mrs. Bullard was of the Methodist faith. She was employed at the Iuka Shirt Factory for over fifty years, and worked there until the factory closed. She was a “people person” and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Bullard also loved sewing and reading her Bible. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Ron Norvell. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Deaton, Jack Deaton, Kelly Deaton, Jesse Deaton, Michael Green, and James Allred. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one son, Donnie Welch of Iuka; two daughters, Peggy W. Green of Tuscumbia, AL, and Sue Deaton of Cherokee, AL; two brothers, Henry Cooper and Noonan Cooper (Guanith), all of Iuka; five grandchildren, Rhonda Fuller, Michael Green, Jim Deaton, Jackie Deaton, and Devan Welch; four great-grandchildren, Aimee Green, Amber Deaton, Kelly Deaton, and Jesse Deaton; and one great-great-grandchild, Carson Deaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Colonel” Bullard; her parents, William W. and Josie Strickland Cooper; and her siblings, Inez Vess, Willard Cooper, Flora Allred, Gladys Kindle, and Jackie Cooper.
