Corey Barnes, 34, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN as the result of an automobile accident. He was a big St. Louis Cardinals Fan, and enjoyed hunting and taking care of his family home place. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Harmony United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state for 2 hours prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. Rusty Fair. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Monday, March 28 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his fiancée, Shelley Childers of Corinth; his father, Jerry Barnes of Cherokee, AL; 1 daughter, Callie Claire of Texas; 1 sister – Courtney Barnes Fair (Rusty) of Slayden, MS; and 3 nieces and nephews – Ansleigh, Cole, and Ella Kate Fair. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myra Robertson Barnes; and his grandparents, Hurchel and Joyce Robertson and Jessie Barnes and Dorothy Hunt.
