Jesse Willard Holland, Jr.

Jesse Willard Holland Jr., 61, of Vero Beach, Fl, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center. Willie, as he was known to his friends and family, had lived in Vero Beach for the last ten years.
Willie was born, and raised, in Chicago, IL on January 28, 1955. He is survived by the 'love of his life' Maria Holland of Norridge, IL and their children: "Jay" Jesse W. Holland III (Mallory) and grandson, John, of Sterling, IL, James Joseph Holland (Emily) and Jennie Lee Holland (Nico) of Norridge, IL. Also surviving are his sisters: Nance St.Clair (Brad Richter) of LaPorte, IN; Pat Holland (Bob O'Donnell) of Vero Beach, FL; Barbara Borden (Lamont) of Iuka, MS, and half-sister Joyce Holland Barnes (Danny) of Iuka, MS, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his son John Michael Holland and parents, Jesse Willard Holland, Sr. and Bobbye (Williams) Holland.
Willie's love of cars and his incredible work ethic led him to build and successfully manage a salvage yard for fifteen years, which he had named after his children, FOUR J’s Auto Parts, Inc. in Cicero, IL. Willie was as tough on the outside as he was soft on the inside. He was loyal and generous and had many longtime friends.
Family was very important to Willie. When he wasn't working, Willie enjoyed riding his Harley, helping to coach his kids' ball teams, fishing or some other family activity. His last few years were spent in poor health, not getting to do so many of the things he had enjoyed, but Willie still loved being around people and was quite the storyteller!
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 06, 2016 from 1-7 pm at Cumberland Funeral Chapel in Norridge, IL. A graveside service will be held in Iuka, MS on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Cutshall Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Internment will be in the Hubbard-Salem Cemetery with Brother Leonard Casabella officiating. Along with his sons, Jay and James, pallbearers include Chad Borden, Sean O'Donnell, Nico Lazzaroni and Joe Stapleton.
