William David Robinson, 92, of Tishomingo, MS, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at his home with his family by his side. Mr. Robinson attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1951. He was a U. S. Army veteran and an active member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and was a member of the Tishomingo Lodge #522 F&AM for 68 years. David retired from TVA in 1983, and became a cattleman until 2014. He will be remembered for his unconditional love of God and his family. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Phil Dawson and Bro. John Bray. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery. Pallbearers include Herman Nunley, Darrell Nunley, Dr. Brad Nunley, Danny Reid, Danny Wright, Brett Williams, Tanner Bray, and Nick Dawson. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Rachel Robinson of Tishomingo; one son, Anthony Robinson of Tishomingo; one daughter, Judy Nixon of Chattanooga, TN; one sister, Evelyn Flaherty Hampton of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, Denise Nixon (Brian) of Rome, Italy, Beth Bray (John) of Tishomingo, and Krissi Robinson of Tishomingo; three great-grandchildren, Analisse Kirby, Sarabeth Bray, and Tanner Bray; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Eugene and Birdie Dexter Robinson; two sisters, Lorene Robinson and Virginia Lingelbach; and two brothers, Floyd and Lawrence Robinson.
