Kathy Sue Mcmeans

Kathy Sue McMeans, 57, of Burnsville, MS, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo following a sudden illness. Kathy was born on March 13, 1958, in Alcorn County. She was a native of Burnsville, and was a former Pharmacy Tech in Corinth. She loved to read and spend time with family. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Pallbearers include Jerry Barnes, Terry Barnes, Ryan Glover, Benjamin Glover, Austin Rowland, Tyler Barnes, Billy Glover, and Zach Glover. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her mother, Betty Sue Barnes of Iuka; three daughters, Amy McMeans Glover (Ryan) of Iuka, Lacey Leigh Frederick of Glen, and Jessica Frederick Rowland (Austin) of Rienzi; two brothers, Jerry Barnes of Corinth, and Terry Barnes of Tishomingo; and four grandchildren, Benjamin Ryan Glover, Emma Kathryn Glover, Ayden Joshua Wilbanks, and Landen Lee Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray McMeans; and her father, Charles Leon Barnes.
