Jimmy R. Kenaum, 62, of Nolensville, TN, formerly of Iuka, MS, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at the Rubio Cancer Center in Tijuana, Mexico. Mr. Kenaum was of the Baptist faith and was National Guard veteran. He was the founder and president of Choice Construction in Nashville, TN. He was also a Freemason, and a member of the Burnsville Lodge #233 F&AM. Jimmy enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, and football. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, December 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Mitchell. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers include Stevie Strickland, Chris Dickenson, Eric Baxter, Jarrett Kenaum, Casey Alexander, and Blake Kenaum. The body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church on Sunday. A Celebration of Life service will also be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at New Livingstone Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Alice Kenaum of Nolensville, TN; two daughters, Jimma Thorne of Cordova, TN, and Jennifer Hinds (Matt) of Iuka; one brother, Gary Kenaum of Iuka; three sisters, Mildred Larimer of Iuka, Marcia Keene of Smyrna, TN, and Tawanda Baxter-Finchum of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bro. Elbert and Oceen Rhodes Kenaum; two brothers, Buddy and David Kenaum; a sister, Shelia Joan Kenaum Strickland; and two infant sisters. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you help to support those organizations and causes that Jimmy was passionate about.
