Mary Jean Jourdan, 70, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mary Jean was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at Blue Bell in Tishomingo, and was the former manager of Texaco in Iuka. She enjoyed cooking. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith and Bro. Perry Murphy. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Justin Alsup, Gary Finney, Clayton Voyles, John Bonds, Gary Kenaum, and Tommy Strickland. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Bonds (Bobby) of Iuka; one brother, Robert Alsup of Savannah, TN; one sister, Nita Sanderson of Amory; two grandchildren, Audrea Bonds (Jeremy) and Grant Bonds, both of Iuka; and a special great-granddog, Shasta. She was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Alsup; her father, Lewis Alsup; her mother, Syble Ann Smith; her step-father, Ovie Smith; two brothers, Wayne Alsup and Billy Alsup; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Sanderson; and her grandparents, Gary and Lala Matthews.
