Durless Evelyn Smith, 90, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, September 18, 2015, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother. A graveside service will be held on September 26, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at Antioch Cemetery in Burnsville, MS, officiated by Bro. Allen Osborn. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 1 daughter – Emma Jean Works (Jimmy) of Iuka; 3 grandchildren – Greg Works (Melissa) of Bellville, IL; Mike Works (Shelaine) of Burnsville, MS; and Dee Lumpkin (Jarod) of Pedal, MS; and 4 great grandchildren – Tyler Works of Augusta, GA; Jessica Works of San Diego, CA; Trey Sims of Burnsville, MS; and Ben Works of Bellville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Smith; her parents, Corbit and Gracie Skelton and W. E. and Emma Garrett; four sisters, Flossie Horton, Opal Kubisky, Dorothy Garrett, and Otha Johnson (Ernest); and three brothers, Elmo, Hubert, and Hershel Skelton.
