Anne Mcclung

September 21, 1947 — July 13, 2015

Dorothy Anne McClung, 67, of Tishomingo, MS, died Monday, July 13, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. McClung was an amazing lady who loved all of her family, and she considered them her greatest accomplishment. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as her own, and taught all of her family about the love of God and how to love one another. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, and every time the church doors were open, she tried her very best to be there with a faith that never wavered. Prayer meetings were also a big part of her life. Anne was the greatest of prayer warriors, and believed until the end that she would be made whole, either in this life or in eternity. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She also loved to fish with her children and grandchildren, and was very accomplished at sewing and quilting. Anne was the best Mother, MawMaw, and sister, and she was happy as long as she was with her family. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, and will continue until service time on Wednesday. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, officiated by Rev. William Burcham, Rev. Rodney Windham, and Bro. Danny Lovelace. Interment will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jacob Harris, Zachary Horn, Joel Crane, Isaac Horn, Keith Harris, Stephen Crane, Kevin Kay, and Grant Horn. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Kay (Kevin) of Tishomingo, Tammy Harris (Keith) of Iuka, Jennifer Horn of Tishomingo, and Melissa Crane (Stephen) of Tishomingo; two brothers, Jackie Pruitt of Tishomingo, and Jimmy Pruitt of Iuka; three sisters, Sarah Hudson of Iuka, Karen Ryan of Iuka, and Debra Brooks of Booneville; eight grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Zachary Horn, Anna Smith (Jace), Allison Horn, Isaac Horn, Abigail Horn, Brooke Crane, and Joel Crane; and one great-grandchild, Jacson Smith. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Joel Johnson; her parents, Arthur and Eddie Mae Crowell Pruitt; a brother, Ray Pruitt; and a sister, Martha Lou Pruitt.
