Mary Ann Linton, 63, of Tishomingo, MS, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mrs. Linton was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the church choir. She was employed as a substitute teacher at Tishomingo County High School. Mrs. Linton loved spending time with her grandchildren, working in her rose gardens, and serving her church. She also enjoyed walking and sewing for her family. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, at Tishomingo Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Todd Cecil. Interment will follow in Lindsey Cemetery. Pallbearers include Troy Duranceau, David Benefield, Jason Carrithers, Roger Smith, Archie Berryman, and Patrick Foret. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Linton of Tishomingo; one son, Adam Harris (Ashley) of Burnsville; one daughter, Glenda Duranceau and husband, Troy, of Iuka; one brother, Harold Fowler of Tishomingo; three grandchildren, Morgan Benefield and Samantha Murphy, both of Iuka, and Aislyn Harris of Burnsville; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrie Benefield, Rhianna Benefield, and Jaxton Carrithers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linward Wayne and Jewel Crane Fowler, and a brother, Kenneth Fowler. Memorials may be made to Tishomingo Baptist Church, c/o Bro. Robbie Crane.
