John C. "Snookie" Nobles

John C. “Snookie” Nobles, 75, of Iuka, Mississippi, died June 4, 2015, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He will be remembered for working on the local milk truck for 40 years, working at Cutshall Funeral Home, and having fun dancing in his spare time. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 9 PM on Sunday, June 7 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled 4 PM on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers include Melvin Pounders, Aubrey Wayne Helton, Todd Williams, David Cooper, Rodney Panell, and Mitchell Wright. Honorary bearers are Randy Stringer and the whole Iuka Police Department; all local merchants he worked for; Steve Nelson; Isaac Williams; and Anthony Powell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 sisters – Betty Nobles Northcutt of Batesville, MS and Carolyn Clark of Iuka, MS; 1 brother – Robert Nobles of Proctor, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Nobles; and his brother, William Nobles. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Lebanon Cemetery Fund; the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org; or to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
