Grace McBride, 93, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. She was a Christian, who served the Lord quietly. She was a graduate from Burnsville High School, and Mississippi State College for Women at Columbus. She taught school at Central Elementary. A retired 33 year employee of Iuka Shirt Factory and Genesco, she later worked with her daughter at G&C Ceramics. She enjoyed working with ceramics, her flowers, gardening, manicuring her yard, and was a great cook who loved to serve others. She was a giver, and her love extended to her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 1 until 4 PM on Saturday, March 28 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robbie Grisham, Barry Dale Grisham, Tommy Bonds, Earl Walker, Mike Provins, and Lanny Cleveland. Honorary bearers will be Lloyd McBride, Donald Brumley, and Billy Cleveland. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 1 son – Cecil Wayne McBride of Iuka; 1 daughter – Charlene Patterson (Glenn, Sr.) of Lafayette, TN; 1 daughter in law – Laverna McBride of Iuka; 1 brother – V.W. Dick Grisham (Earline) of Iuka; 1 brother in law – Lloyd McBride (Charlotte); 1 sister – Willodean Bonds (Thomas) of Burnsville; 2 sister in laws – Gertrude Grisham of Orchard Lake, MI and Joyce Brumley (Donald) of Iuka; 1 step grandson, Glenn Patterson, Jr. (Elaine); 2 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great granddaughters, all of Lafayette, TN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. “Rob” and Bryan Johnson Grisham; 2 brothers, Marvin and Harry Grisham; and one grandson, Douglas Wayne McBride. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home Christmas Fund at 230 Kaki Street, Iuka, MS 38852.
