Dr. Rose Cobb, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, March 2, 2015, in St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, and was devoted to many church functions in many churches across northeast Mississippi over the years. She had a PhD in Elementary Education, and taught school for 35 years. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 7 PM on Wednesday, March 4 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Iuka Baptist Church. It will be officiated by Bro. Johnny Hancock. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Daugherty, Jacob Pind, Chris Shackleford, Jody Dawson, Chris Moss, and Chuck Kay Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 1 son – Joey M. Cobb (Becky) of Iuka; 1 brother – Bob Stephens (Katie) of Gautier, MS; 2 grandchildren – Sara Beth Pind (Jacob) of Arlington, TN and Jake Cobb of Iuka; 1 great grandchild – Ryen Pind; and a special friend, Jimmy Ingram of Ridgeland, MS.
