Anna Davis Hill

Anna Lea Davis Hill, 47, of Burnsville, MS, died Friday, February 20, 2015, in Glen, MS. Mrs. Hill was a longtime member of Berea Church of Christ and was more recently a member of the Iuka Church of Christ. She worked as a mental health professional at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She earned an associate’s degree from Northeast Mississippi Junior College, a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Freed-Hardeman University, and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Anna enjoyed watching her children play sports, cooking, and shopping. She also enjoyed riding horses and decorating, and especially loved her husband and children. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, at Berea Church of Christ. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, at Berea Church of Christ, officiated by Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Burcham Davis/Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Calton, Brian Wheeler, Drexel Davis, Nathan Davis, Robert Davis, and Tim Davis. Honorary pallbearers include Lucas Russo, Richard Russo, Brad Calton, Jimmy Calton, Mike Tucker, and Peyton Cummings. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her husband, David Hill; two sons, Davis Hill and Tucker Hill; and two daughters, Briley Hill and Raylea Hill, all of Burnsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gloria Briley Davis; her paternal grandparents, Elton and Fannie Mae Davis; and her maternal grandparents, Kelmer and Mary Frances Newcomb Briley.
