Acie Tilman Harrington

December 27, 1932 — February 16, 2015

Acie Tilman Harrington, 82, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, February 16, 2015, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka. Mr. Harrington faithfully attended New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran, and served in Germany during the Korean War. He was a former welding supervisor and co-owner of Foundry Flask and Equipment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service time at the church on Wednesday. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jack Whitley and Tony Brown. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery with military honors. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by three daughters, Kim Jessee of Ypsilanti, MI, Pamela Harrington of Westland, MI, and Deborah Sims of Belleville, MI; two brothers, J. D. Harrington of Florida, and Jack Herrington of Kentucky; two sisters, Jettie Wilkins and Ethel Floyd, both of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Heather Johnson of Livonia, MI, Amanda Browning of Ypsilanti, MI, Onna Harrington of Belleville, MI, and Michael Becker of Westland, MI; four great-grandchildren, Carter Johnson, Mason Tuberville, Wyatt Johnson, and Logan Kilyanek; and long-time friend, Tony Brown of Burton. He was preceded in death by an infant son; a son-in-law, Ronald Jessee; his parents, Jessie Lee and Irvia Coleman Harrington; and two brothers, William and James Harrington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Lebanon Cemetery Fund.
