Myra Pardue, 87, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a 1946 graduate of Holcut High School, and was a long time member of South Crossroads Baptist Church. She was retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing after 50 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends at Hardee’s, Jack’s, and at the Tishomingo Community Living Center Rahab. She enjoyed gardening, and was a great cook who loved taking care of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Saturday, February 14 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 3 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at South Crossroads Baptist Church. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service time. The service will be officiated by Bro. Mike Neighbors. Interment will follow in South Crossroads Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived 2 sons – Charles Pardue (Barbara) and Gaylon Pardue, both of Tishomingo; 1 daughter – Loretta Pardue (Rick Dunn) of Tishomingo; 1 daughter in law – Martha Pardue of Tishomingo; 1 sister – June King (Reynold) of Cookeville, TN; 3 grandchildren – Brent Pardue, Jena McNatt (Joseph), and Shanna Grisham (Scotty); and 4 great grandchildren – Serah McNatt, Morgan McNatt, Allye Grace Grisham, and Emilee Grisham; and several extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Vardaman Grimes and Mamie Walden Grimes; her husband, Chess Pardue; and her son, James E. Pardue. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Crossroads Cemetery Fund.
