Easter Mae Wadkins

Easter Mae Wadkins, 83, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, February 9, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Easter enjoyed quilting and loved gardening. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Wayne Crum and Bro. Scott Brady. Interment will follow at Snowdown Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Pallbearers include Jamie Whitfield, Donovan Cain, Adam Thomas, Brannon Gamble, Clint Johnson and Heath Johnson. Honorary pallbearers include Eddie Richardson and Jeff Blackburn. She is survived by 3 daughters, Margie Williams (Dale), Kathy Thomas (Richard), and Gale Cain (Donnie); and 1 sister, Emma Rast, all of Iuka. Mrs. Wadkins was blessed with 6 grandchildren, Holly Blackburn (Jeff) of Florence, AL, Carrie Johnson (Heath) of Burnsville, and Amanda Richardson (Eddie), Adam Thomas, Donovan Cain (Jennifer), and Jamie Whitfield, all of Iuka; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Wadkins; her parents, James Parsons and Lona Mae Parsons Murray; Stepfather, Jack Murray; 1 grandson, Noah Blackburn; and 1 brother, James Franklin Parsons.
