Barbara Jean Young, 63, of Iuka, Mississippi, died January 19, 2015, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She loved antiquing, working in her yard and gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday, January 20 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Dwight South. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Wadkins, Shawn Merrill, Keith Falgout, Justin Clark, Mike Parsons, and Scotty Pruitt. Doug Merrill will serve as an honorary bearer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Donnie Young (Shelley) and Ronnie Young, both of Iuka; 3 brothers – Jerry Wadkins (Sherrie) of Iuka; Jeff Wadkins (Tammy) of Tishomingo; and John Wadkins (Labrista) of Iuka; 2 sisters – Joyce Caughron (David) of Bartlett, TN and Judy Merrill of Iuka 4 grandchildren – Coty Young, Erica Young, Megan Young, Savannah Faith Young; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lou Gene Wadkins; and her niece, Antoinette Wadkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Snowdown Cemetery Fund.
