Frances Tidwell, 99, of Burnsville, MS, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mrs. Tidwell was a member of First Baptist Church in Burnsville and a homemaker. She lived life to the fullest, and was always interested in her home community of Burnsville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Rich. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nicky McRae, Fred Hyde, Carl Spoon, Wayne Wingo, Benjamin Gray, Bubba Carpenter, and Bill Timbes. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home on Sunday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one brother, Wilburn Gray and wife, Lottie, of Chattanooga, TN; one grandchild, Angela Stockton Williams of Elizabeth, CO; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Perry “H. P.” Tidwell; a son, Harry Stockton; her parents, Shug and Mary Elledge Gray; a brother, James Howard Gray; and two sisters, Mildred Smith and Velma Formby.
