Betty Jean Vestal

Betty Jean Vestal, 76, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in Grayson County, KY on August 28, 1938. She loved to read and play with her Yorkies but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Libby Gearren and husband Jimmy of Iuka, MS and Debi Vestal and husband Dave of Matthews, NC; two grandchildren, Jamie Carver and husband Ben of Starkville, MS and Chase Vestal and wife Ashley of Asheboro, NC; five great grandchildren, Zach Vestal, Hayes Carver, Hope Vuncannon, Bentlee Vestal and Delta Kate Carver. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Winfred Vestal, her parents, James and Alta Mae Hayes and six brothers and two sisters all of Kentucky. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Public Library, the Humane Society or local veterinarian or charity of choice.
