John Randy Twitty, 62, of Tishomingo, MS, died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. Randy was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church. He was formerly employed for twenty-four years at R&D Maintenance. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, at Forrest Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 4, at Forrest Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Bobby Massey and Bro. Andy Elliott. Interment will follow in Forrest Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Scott Twitty, Kelvin Hammock, Brady Hammock, Ronnie Holder, Dexter Rosser, and Nathan Brimingham. Honorary pallbearers include Tim Twitty, Ryan Twitty, Matthew Twitty, Nathan Twitty, Hunter Twitty, Koa Twitty, and Brock Twitty. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by one son, Jonathan Scott Twitty (Kelly) of Evergreen, CO; one daughter, Sarah Hammock (Kelvin) of Tishomingo; a step-daughter, Kate Ewing of Tupelo; three brothers, Royal Twitty of Iuka, Charles Twitty of Burnsville, and Wayne Twitty of Bellwood, IL; three sisters, Anne Holder of Cairo, Maye Taylor of Iuka, and Brenda Burcham of Burnsville; and five grandchildren, Haley Hammock, Brady Hammock, Hunter Twitty, Koa Twitty, and Riley Twitty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Twitty; his parents, Loomis and Audie Mae Vandiver Twitty; two brothers, Junior Twitty and Jerry Lynn Twitty; and a sister, Sue Twitty.
