Corrie Ruth Ramsey Carson

Corrie Ruth Ramsey Carson, 68, of Tupelo, MS, formerly of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, as the result of an automobile accident. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a former cosmetologist in Iuka. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Don Chandler. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Kristy Thomas of Tupelo; two sons, Craig Carson of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Kevin Carson of Iuka; a brother, Jimmie Floyd Ramsey (Jean) of Iuka; two sisters, Abbie Byrom (Greg) of Chattanooga, TN, and Katie Chandler (Don) of New Albany; and three grandchildren, Ashley Deweese (Drew), of Tupelo, Emily Thomas of Tupelo, and McKenzie Carson of Corinth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Marie Ramsey; a brother, Billy Don Ramsey; two nephews, Bo Ramsey and Don Ramsey; and a niece, Debbie Ramsey.
